Plan G is standardized. Your carrier choice isn’t.
Mutual of Omaha offers Medicare Supplement insurance designed to work alongside Original Medicare, including popular options such as Plan G, Plan N and High-Deductible Plan G.
Compare the standardized benefits first—then look deeper at premiums, household discounts, underwriting, pricing and the company behind the policy.

Mutual of Omaha’s current Medicare consumer offering is heavily centered on Medicare Supplement rather than Medicare Advantage.
One of the broadest standardized options for people newly eligible for Medicare. It covers many Original Medicare cost-sharing gaps but does not cover the Part B deductible.
2026 Part B deductible: $283
Provides many of Plan G’s benefits while accepting additional cost sharing in exchange for potentially lower premiums.
Up to $20 for certain office visits
Up to $50 for certain ER visits
No Part B excess-charge coverage
Lower fixed premium + greater upfront self-funding before standardized Plan G benefits begin.
2026 annual high deductible: $2,950
Compare premium savings with additional self-funded risk.
Mutual of Omaha’s current online quoting examples advertise an additional 12% household discount when applicable. Eligibility and percentages vary by state, policy and household circumstances.

Routine dental is not a standardized Medigap benefit. Mutual of Omaha sells separate dental insurance and eligible customers can currently receive a 15% dental premium discount when qualifying products are bundled.
Modern Medigap does not include Part D. A typical package is Original Medicare + Mutual of Omaha Medigap + a separate Part D plan.
Discount ≠ insurance benefit.
Fitness, hearing and vision programs are additional carrier services, not standardized Medicare Supplement benefits.

Community-rated, issue-age-rated and attained-age-rated structures can apply depending on underwriting company, policy series and state.
Ask about starting premium, discounts, rating method, policy-series history, recent rate changes, closed blocks and whether age affects future pricing.
Financial strength does not tell you whether Mutual of Omaha is cheapest, whether its rate increases will be smallest, or whether Plan G is best for you.
OCTOBER 15–DECEMBER 7 DOES NOT RESET MEDIGAP UNDERWRITING
The Annual Enrollment Period is important for Medicare Advantage and Part D, but it does not create a universal federal right to switch Medicare Supplement companies without underwriting.
The primary federal Medigap Open Enrollment Period generally starts when you’re 65 or older and enrolled in Part B and lasts six months.
Outside protected circumstances, medical underwriting may affect acceptance, premium or eligibility.
Do not cancel your current Medigap policy until the replacement policy has been approved and you understand its effective date.
